's a new year and with it comes some games that I've been excited about since they were revealed. One of these is Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, a remake of my childhood crush. However, this time around, Ubisoft has reimagined the entire line by looking at things from a new perspective. Fortunately, it turned out to be one of Ubisoft's best offerings this fiscal year. Small but rich budget, Lost Crown brings a lot of new things to the game. Some things are a welcome addition to the Metroidvania genre. Thanks to an early copy provided by Ubisoft, we got to explore the beautiful world of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, and here are my thoughts on the game.
Eternals stand together Fax Lists Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is set in the classic Prince of Persia universe. However, instead of returning to the same old characters, the game explores new characters this time around. We play as Sargon , a member of the Immortals, who are elite warriors with mystical powers. One day, when the Persian Imperial Prince Ghassan is kidnapped, it falls to Sargon and the Immortals to rescue him and bring him home. This will lead our hero and his colleagues through the mystical Mount Qof , the home of the god of time, Simurgh. And as you might expect, time doesn't flow as intended here. After all, this is a Prince of Persia game. Trapped here while trying to save the prince, Sargon is put through this whole ordeal and has to travel through the mountain while trying to figure out what's going on.
Immortal in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Ubisoft has put a lot of thought and effort into the story. Granted, given its Metroidvania nature, it could become an afterthought. However, there are systems where you can enjoy the main beats of the game instead of feeling lost. To complete the story line, world building is done through cognitive sets . These add to the intelligence part. However, there is no forced inclusion. So, unless you're hell-bent on knowing all the basics of the game, you don't really need to find them. Also, there are side quests in the game that significantly help build the universe. As such, I recommend doing some exploration as they add to the gaming experience. I've had a long time with them and I'm sure you will too. Anahita and Sargon's conversation in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown There are several serious attempts to create an original story line.
